June represents light, warmth, growth and the fullness that comes with stepping into a new season. The lotus symbolizes awakening, resilience and transformation - rising from the depths to bloom with beauty and purpose.
Together, The June Lotus represents the journey of becoming: growing through what we experience, reconnecting with our inner light and continually unfolding into who we are meant to be.
What began as a virtual life coaching platform in 2021 has grown, five years later, into a wellness and coaching community rooted in Lynbrook, NY.
Our practice draws from both ancient wisdom and embodied practices, and at its heart is the understanding that wellness is more than physical. Through movement, stillness and self-exploration, we create opportunities to better understand ourselves, cultivate our energy and strengthen the connection between body, mind and inner wisdom.
These elements come together to support the whole person - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
The Lotus Team
Hi! I am Beatricia - or Bea - creator and founder of The June Lotus. I am also a holistic life alignment coach, health and wellness coach, intuitive energy healer, movement practitioner and master instructor.
My passion for mind and body integration started with my first love - dance. Growing up, dance served as therapy. Tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, modern contemporary and afro-ethnic dance allowed me to express myself in ways my words couldn't.
I am first-generation American of Haitian heritage with roots in church, sacred ritual, and spiritual and metaphysical study. My educational background in Public Health, Nursing and decades of personal and professional energy healing work is the foundation of how I hold space and support clients in improving their physical, emotional and mental health, and releasing patterns that keep them feeling stuck, disconnected, or out of alignment.
Over the past 15+ years, my passion and work has evolved through yoga, qigong, breathwork, energy healing and different areas of coaching. Along my journey, I was given the spiritual name Hwanhari, a name I carry as a reflection of inner light, guidance and the wisdom we each hold within.
Like many of the people I now support, my path was shaped by seasons of emotional burnout and disconnection. Returning to mindful movement and the breath became the way I restored my sense of grounding, self-worth and inner stability. Through my lived experiences and deep practice with the body-mind-spirit connection, my work became less about “fixing” me or my clients and more about remembering who we are.
My approach is intuitive, grounded and compassionate. I blend mindful movement, breath-led practices, somatic awareness, intuitive guidance and motivational conversation to help people feel safe in their bodies, clear in their minds and connected to their inner wisdom.

Assistant Manager - Wellness Coach - Instructor
Leon discovered yoga while taking an instructor course during a time when he was learning to reconnect with himself and make space for his own well-being. What started as an assignment to attend an in-person class quickly became something much more meaningful, inspiring him to eventually become an instructor.
Since August 2023, Leon has been teaching movement classes that combine stretching, active movement, and core strengthening. His teaching style is calm but challenging, making his classes a great fit for anyone looking to push themselves while staying connected to their body.
Outside of movement, Leon enjoys cooking, nature and astrology. With an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts, he especially appreciates the connection between food, nature and mindfulness.

"Classes can be a place to practice how we respond to challenges. When we learn to stay present, breathe through discomfort, and keep moving, that same groundedness can follow us beyond the studio. The more comfortable we become with challenge in our bodies, the easier it can be to meet life’s challenges without allowing them to completely throw us off balance."
Founder of the former Lynbrook Body & Brain and Founder of Rose Garden
For 19 years, "Master Rose" cultivated Lynbrook Body & Brain into a place of wellness, connection and community. With a background in microbiology and a deep passion for holistic living, she brought together science, movement, mindfulness, natural wellness and her infinitely warm heart to support the people she served.
Her work laid the physical foundation for what would become The June Lotus Wellness & Coaching. Moving from virtual to in-person services, The June Lotus carries forward the relationships, wisdom and spirit Rose cultivated over nearly two decades.
Through Rose Garden, her passion for herbal wellness and nourishment continues to live on - offering simple, intentional ways to connect with nature and care for the whole self.
Rose remains an important part of the June Lotus story as its Legacy Steward, honoring where we've come from while making space for what comes next.
